A Psalm of Red Art Gallery by Lightaid

From August 1st to 5th, Lightaid hosted its first period themed art gallery in Shanghai, China. The Lightaid team have spent months prior in preparation for this event to be a reality: from fundraising, finding sponsors, booking a venue, contacting artists, and setting up the gallery, all stemmed from our passion to reduce the period shame stigma.

In between the five days of our event, many passed by: including monthers who dragged their children out of our gallery entrance because they are “too yong to learn about this.” From then, we knew our work was not finished.
